7. They Price Gouge


In July 2015 the Department of Consumer Affairs rebuked Whole Foods stores in New York City for mislabeling their products and packages, which resulted in huge profits for the grocery store. Whole Foods’ CEO issued an immediate apology and said that the company had made ‘honest’ mistakes and would implement a new policy to prevent future problems. So on top of everything else, Whole Foods cheats customers out of even more money than they already make with their ridiculously-high prices.
